I hope that you will all do your civic duty and contact your Senators - especially if you agree with me on this issue. For those of you in Washington, here's the info: Senator Patty Murray Senator Maria Cantwell For those of you who are not, here's how to sign onto the petition - and after you sign on, they'll give you the contact info for your Senators: If you REALLY want to protect the so-called "sanctity of marriage," get your Senator to vote on an amendment to ban divorce. Allowing homosexuals to join in a union doesn't do anything to the sanctity of marriage unless it strengthens it, IMHO. |
