So let me give you a rundown of my weekend so far. Note that it is Saturday and this is a "long" weekend wherein it shall continue through Monday.

1) I cancelled my birthday party in a nervous-breakdown/fit-of-self-pity.

2) I broke up with my boyfriend. It was horrible and we both cried a lot.

3) My very favorite aunt, Aunt Evelyn, died. I hadn't written her yet about my new job - I was going to do that tomorrow, actually. Also, she was one of the precious few of my family members who remembered my birthday. I actually got a card from her ON my birthday.

So pardon me if I don't write anymore for a bit. It seems like when my life goes to shit, it really does it in style, don't you think?
